For more than 20 years now, the WOMED Award has been celebrating strong female entrepreneurship and putting inspiring female entrepreneurs in the spotlight.
IPARC’s managing partner Leen Gysen has been selected as one of 4 finalists for the Womed award for female entrepreneur of the year 2020.
Because we firmly believe that to affect real change, we need to nurture female entrepreneurship. Access to finance is key in developing women-owned businesses and the Womed award puts the spotlight exactly where investors need to be looking. In 2019 female entrepreneurs landed only 2,2% of all investment funding in start- and scale-ups. Yet times, they are changing at the same time: the number of female-led businesses has doubled over the past 5 years.
At IPARC we work to prep the next generation of conservators for entrepreneurship and sustainable business. Because it is our team of conservators and the founders-management team who build our business step by step, one day at a time.
This award nomination is a tribute to them and to all stakeholders in the IPARC ecosystem.
