IPARC (International Platform for Art Research and Conservation, www.iparc.eu) lanceert een kunstenaarsresidentie in de herfst van 2020. Het residentieprogramma biedt de mogelijkheid aan een beeldend kunstenaar om gebruik te maken van atelierrruimte, vorm te geven aan nieuw werk, te experimenteren met nieuwe technieken en te interageren en leren met en van restauratoren.<\/p>\n

De kunstenaar heeft gedurende 3 weken de beschikking over een werkruimte in Kampenhout en 300\u20ac aan materiaal.\u00a0 De ruimte is voldoende groot en hoog zodat ook grote werken zoals schilderijen, sculptuur, textiel of andere disciplines tot de mogelijkheden behoren.<\/p>\n

Tijdens de residentie krijgt de kunstenaar expertise aangereikt op vlak van conservatie en technieken door het ervaren IPARC-team. \u00a0Dit kan gaan van advies over technieken en materiaal, tot meer structurele ingrepen. Te oordelen naar de vragen die we regelmatig krijgen van beeldend kunstenaars, is deze residentie een uitzonderlijke kans voor een ambitieuze kunstenaar om te experimenteren, onderzoek uit te voeren en oplossingen aangereikt te krijgen voor specifieke conservatie-uitdagingen.<\/p>\n

Voor verblijf en transport dient de kunstenaar zelf in te staan.<\/p>\n

Het programma staat open voor kandidaten zonder leeftijds- noch enige andere beperking.\u00a0 De timing is flexibel en kan in onderling overleg worden vastgelegd tussen oktober en midden december 2020.<\/p>\n

  2. Projectvoorstel (300 woorden)<\/li>\n
  3. Korte nota waarin je je verwachtingen van de residentie uiteenzet (150 woorden)<\/li>\n
  4. Een specifieke (conservatie)uitdaging die je door de residentie hoopt op te lossen (150 woorden)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
